ZOW management has been reorganised by Clarion Events Deutschland in terms of responsibilities.
Therese Frank, Head of Finance, and Dietmar Schöner, Head of Marketing & Operations, who have both been with the company for many years, will be taking over business operations as authorised signatories with immediate effect. Moreover, the trade fair organiser has taken two specialists on board with experience in trade fairs and in the furniture industry, Hans Hermann Hagelmann and Udo Traeger, who will be lending their support and guidance to the transformation process of the company.
On account of the fact that Udo Traeger has been working in the trade fair busi-ness for over 30 years, he will also be focusing on business development in addition to the process of change within the company itself. As part of his duties, he will, in particular, be responsible for the stabilisation of ZOW, for strengthening project management skills and for the assessment of further trade show formats in German-speaking countries. With his expert knowledge of the furniture industry and its suppliers in East Westphalia, Hans Hermann Hagelmann will lend his support to the planned marketing activities and intensify customer retention at the same time. He was among the initiators of ZOW in as early as 1995 and was director of the kitchen manufacturer Nolte Küchen for many years. Furthermore, he played an active role as a consultant in the reorientation of ZOW under the man-agement of Frank Haubold, who will be leaving the company at his own request with effect from 31 October 2015. "Despite his departure, his conceptual considera-tions regarding the transition of ZOW will still continue to apply", state Traeger and Hagelmann.
I respect Mr Haubold@¬#s personal reasons for leaving the company and would like to express my thanks to him for his commitment in the further development of ZOW. Over the past few months, his development activities have resulted in the foundation stone being laid for the long-term success of the networking fair, says Greg Ward, Director of Clarion Events Deutschland. I am confident that this personnel restructuring will enable us to position our company in the important German trade fair market and that we will lead ZOW to success again as a major event for us in the trade fair calendar.
ZOW 2016 will be held from 16 to 19 February at Bad Salzuflen Exhibition Centre. This is where the innovative range of products and services offered by the suppli-ers to the furniture and interior fittings industry meets with interest on the part of decision-makers from the field of international furniture production, from the furniture retail trade, interior fittings and the skilled trades. As a market place for information, inspiration and innovation, the networking fair is a relevant offer for the market, both from the point of view of its location in East Westphalia-Lippe (OWL) and with regard to the time of year when it is held in February. This show provides the ideal backdrop for promoting, assessing, and where applicable, finalising product decisions concerning the autumn and winter trade fairs of the industry in all areas of furniture manufacturing.
