The organiser Clarion gears the concept to an even greater extent towards the requirements of the exhibitors and visitors.
Since the concept of the event has been under scrutiny since the last show, the ZOW team has been making intensive use of the past few months to meet face-to-face with the exhibitors, visitors and the media in order to record their ideas and proposals for the event. A distinct signal has come out of these talks in this industry: It has clearly transpired from this dialogue that ZOW is of relevance for the market as a workshop for ideas and innovations both in terms of the location in East Westphalia-Lippe (OWL) and the time when it is held in February, remarks Haubold. The requests and ideas have also been adopted in the planning process of the event accordingly. Some minor changes, such as the adjustment of the order of the days of the show, have been carried out rather swiftly: In future, the gathering of the industry will be opening its doors from Tuesday to Friday.
A further central approach to the modifications is the design of the hall. On the one hand, visitors will experience a different layout to that in previous years owing to the occupancy of halls 20, 21 and 22.1. On the other, hall 22.1 in particular will be given a new look through which the workshop character of ZOW will be reinterpreted. The focus of the event programme will be on central highlights. The current booking status is already available on the ZOW website
Extensive information campaign in the autumn
ZOW will be providing further details on the changes and innovations in the autumn to coincide with the trade shows held in East Westphalia at this time of the year.
The content of the new ZOW event will be presented to the public there as part of a press conference. Moreover, the fair management is planning to conduct diverse roundtable discussions and talks with the press in major visitor markets such as Spain or France. At the same time, information stands will play a major role in this information campaign at relevant trade shows in Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and Italy. And then it will be full steam ahead towards ZOW, the implementation of the plans and continued visitor management, says Haubold.
