Three Red Dot Awards for Küppersbusch

Küppersbusch has received three Red Dot Awards: Küppersbusch Meisterstuck Kitchen unit, EMWK 6550.0 combined microwave oven and automatic coffee machine EKV 6500.1, both products in the new Küppersbusch Individual range.

Teka Group continues adding accolades, this time through its premium brand, Küppersbusch. One of the prestigious Red Dots went to the stainless steel model of the Küppersbusch Meisterstück. Inspired by professional kitchens in sophisticated restaurants, this gourmet cook centre provides a completely new concept for integrated island cookers. A 90-cm wide maxi oven, wok hob, induction hobs, Teppan Yaki or lava stone grills – nothing is left to be desired for professional and ambitious amateur cooks, who can have their kitchen custom-made.

In addition to the large, award-winning Profession+version, Küppersbusch also offers a smaller Comfort+ model, which customers can also configurate according to their personal wishes.

The products in the new Küppersbusch Individual design concept were also perceived very well by the jury and they rewarded black models with a black velvet handle and metal trim with two red dot awards, with one accolade going to the fully automatic coffee machine EKV 6500.1 and the other product award going to the EMWK 6550.0 combined microwave oven.

The new Küppersbusch Individual design concept offers bespoke solutions for built-in kitchen appliances. It was presented for the first time at this year@¬#s LivingKitchen trade show in Cologne. With the concept, customers can now individualize the design of their premium appliances themselves, thus giving each individual kitchen its own special beauty.

Almost all the Küppersbusch Individual concept products are available in black and white and can be combined with handles and metal trim in stainless steel, black chrome, silver chrome, black velvet or gold. The new concept is available for ovens and compact appliances. The products are available now.

Red Dot Design Award is one of the most important design awards in the world than certifies the quality and innovation of developers and manufacturers in developing new home and business products. With over 12.000 participants from 60 countries, the Red Dot Design Award is divided into three categories; product design, communication strategy and creativity.

The three Red Dot Awards received in 2013 are added to those obtained by the range of ovens Black Chrome Edition granted by Teka Group in 2010. In that edition the awarded products were a steam oven and a microwave oven compact, both made on the facilities of the company in Portugal. The third award was obtained by an electric oven produced in Zaragoza.

The Red Dot Award allows Küppersbusch to use the distinctive Red Dot seal of quality in the labelling of its products and its packaging and in advertising campaigns developed in brochures, magazines or on line media.
