11 febrero, 2015

At LivingKitchen 2015, SieMatic showcased its new developments: Pure and Classic style collections and Urban.

SE 3003 R and S2-R, with frame fronts in metallic materials, fine wood and nuanced finishes, inspired by the Pure style collection and first shown in the fall of 2014, were also presented, along with re-interpretations of the successfully established SieMatic BeauxArts in the Classic style collection.

SieMatic introduces new planning principle at LivingKitchen

The new aesthetics, materials and features of the new MultiMatic Aluminum interior system highlights the interior quality of SieMatic cabinetry. The Urban theme is aimed at urbanites who enjoy mixing different styles. Meanwhile, Pure interprets modern design themes and Classic reflects the world of traditional design.

Urban: Fresh, flexible, functional

Unusual contrasts between carefully selected objects, freestanding planned units, and intuitive compositions in opposing styles are a hallmark of the Urban design theme debuting with the SieMatic 29 kitchen sideboard, a versatile piece of kitchen furniture and a tribute to the family business founded in 1929. The design takes a fresh, new approach to the concept of free-standing units and accommodates kitchen functionality such as a stove top or sink while coordinating perfectly with cabinet combinations fitted with ovens, dishwashers and refrigeration units.

Pure: Timeless elegance reinvented
The Pure design theme combines kitchen functionality and design in a minimalist look with a multitude of options. Two kitchen programs, SE 3003 R and S2-R, with an elegant 6.5 mm frame launched in the fall of 2014 will be making their debut at the 2015 LivingKitchen exhibition in Cologne. The Pure theme is available in three new metallic options, gold bronze, nickel and black matt, and in every other SieMatic ColorSystem hue as well as 1,950 special colors. The design is available in a warm, natural aesthetic in wood tones including sand oak, matt black oak and natural walnut sporting a distinct grain.

Classic: Reinterpretation of BeauxArts

Timeless elegance and cozy comfort are not necessarily mutually exclusive – the Classic design theme presents individual, sensitive designs and extravagant elements with glass and gloss for lightness and transparency, and profiled fronts for a classical aesthetic. This blend of styles with an elegant, timeless look will be showcased in a reinterpretation of the  successful SieMatic BeauxArts, which was developed in collaboration with Chicago designer Mick De Giulio, with a combination of quality metal fronts with ebony gloss, matt or gloss lacquered finish, glass, and unique StoneDesign counter tops.

Award-winning interior accessories

Keeping things tidy can now be even more of a rewarding experience: MultiMatic Aluminum and aluminum interior accessories for drawers and pullouts will now come in a uniform design with matching materials and functionality throughout. The MultiMatic system developed by SieMatic for maximizing storage efficiency has already received a number of design awards; MulitMatic Aluminum in its new design receivede the German Design Council’s Interior Innovation Award 2015 at the 2015 LivingKitchen exhibition in Cologne, Germany. The aluminum interior accessories for drawers and pullouts has been voted the best of the year in kitchen cabinetry by Interior Design magazine after receiving the iF product design award and Red Dot Award for Product Design in 2014.
