New York welcomes Porcelanosa with an unforgettable inauguration gala

This commercial and historical landmark for the firm was celebrated with a large event in Manhattan which had over 700 guests from over 80 countries, invited to enjoy a pleasant gala dinner in Madison Square Park, just next to the new Porcelanosa building.

Among the guests were the most important architecture and interior design studios of the United States, and the closest collaborators and friends of Porcelanosa at an international level. There were also plenty of famous faces, such as the face of the company for over thirty years, Isabel Preysler, designer Carolina Herrera, bullfighter Cayetano Rivera and top models Nieves Álvarez and Irina Shayk, along with Hollywood stars who attended Porcelanosa’s opening event in the Big Apple.

The new flagship store in the Big Apple has been renovated by prestigious architect Norman Foster, who has converted the emblematic Commodore Criterion building into a global benchmark for architecture and interior design. The new Porcelanosa building has 2,000 square metres of exhibition space on 6 levels in which the products of the eight firms which make up the company will be displayed, from ceramic flooring and coverings, to natural materials, fittings for kitchens and bathrooms and construction systems.

This is the twenty-fifth Porcelanosa shop in the United States, where there are over 500 authorised distributors after three decades of business operations in the country.
