All signs indicate that the unique kitchen event will once more bring new ideas and inspiration to the international sector.
All good things come in threes, goes the saying. The Koelnmesse team supporting Eike Fuchs have really gone the extra mile these past months, to ensure that their own, as well as the industry@¬#s high expectations surrounding the third edition of LivingKitchen are fulfilled. And it seems they have succeeded; at the beginning of September 2014, around 90% of the available space in Halls 4.1, 4.2 and 5.2 was already reserved. Among the exhibitors are loyal big name brands like Blanco, Bosch-Siemens-Hausgeräte (home appliances), Franke, Häcker Küchen, Lechner, Leicht, Miele, Nobilia, Schüller and zeyko.
But LivingKitchen also expects many first-time exhibitors as well as exhibitors returning to the fair in 2015, among them such well-known brands as Grohe, Panasonic, Strasser Steine, Aga/Falcon and premium manufacturers like SieMatic, Ewe Küchen and Paxmann. An appeal that reaches right across the world: Alongside the established exhibitors at LivingKitchen, we have succeeded in attracting around 50 new exhibitors to our fair, more than half of whom come from abroad. All in all, we are offering a whole new raft of exhibitors who are bringing fresh looks and accents and successful business to the event. Exhibitors who present the kitchen as it is, at the centre of our lives, in the most beautiful way, says Eike Fuchs.
Alongside the exhibitors, Koelnmesse has also been focussing on visitor acquisition at home and abroad for months now. A particular emphasis has been placed on key markets like Russia, China and the USA. In the last few months, these markets have been consistently looked after and provided with information and communication ideas and suggestions, such as a specifically dedicated PR campaign. As a result, the various Chinese industry associations announced their visit to LivingKitchen, for example. With the percentage of visitors from abroad at more than 50 % (up from 42 % in 2013, based on the trade visitor days figures), LivingKitchen 2015 promises to be an extremely international fair. Altogether, the fair duo of LivingKitchen and imm cologne expects to attract over 150,000 visitors.
Gerald Böse, President and Chief Executive Officer of Koelnmesse, is calling for a high octane end spurt toward LivingKitchen 2015, a real sign of Koelnmesse@¬#s high levels of commitment and motivation. The general environment is excellent because the fair format is a real reflection of the global industry and is being adopted by the industry – in the long-term. There are still four months to go and we are confident that we can attract further market leading companies as well as visitors to LivingKitchen, by engaging in lots of national and international talks. We are already looking forward to an impressive LivingKitchen, the fair which also sounds the starting gun for a successful business year in 2015!
The next trade fair duo Imm Cologne/ LivingKitchen will take place from 19- 25 January 2015.
