Foreign participation in LivingKitchen 2013, which will take place in Cologne (Germany) from 14 to 20 January, has increased by 15%. In total, there are already 6% more exhibitors confirmed than the last year.

With roughly four months to go, LivingKitchen is making its way down the home stretch. Already there are 140 confirmed exhibitors (+6% compared to the same time last year) from Germany and abroad.

LivingKitchen

Exhibitors at the first LivingKitchen were primarily leaders in the German kitchen industry, but the concept is now drawing more and more international exhibitors to Cologne. Consequently, they now make up 40% of the overall participants (25% in 2011);. The result is that Koelnmesse is no longer offering the unique service package solely to the domestic market; it’s offering it around the globe.

For example, in addition to next January@¬#s event, Koelnmesse is developing cooperations with international trade fairs such as Rooms Moscow 2013 and Kitchen’& Bath China 2013 in Shanghai.

Occupation
Companies such as AEG, Beckermann, Electrolux, Express Küchen, Gutmann, Häcker Küchen, Miele, Schock, Svea and Zanussi will be presenting their products. Visitors will also be able to see kitchen trends from Alno, Blanco, Bosch, Eggersmann, Gaggenau, Göhring, Lechner, Leicht, Neff, Sachsenküchen, Team 7, V-Zug, Warendorfer and Zeyko, among others.

Trade visitors and end consumers will discover new items from Bauformat, Bauknecht, Burger, Franke, Gorenje, Nobilia, Nolte, Schüller, Siemens, Villeroy & Boch and companies in the A30 marketing consortium (Artego, Ballerina, Brigitte, Pronorm, rational, Rotpunkt, RWK).

The Spanish companies Cosentino, Frecan, Cata, Compac, Logos, Navarrete e Hijos, Stengel Ibérica, TPB and The Size Simered Ceramics will be participating too.

From 5 September 2012 on, all exhibitors will be listed in the online index as well, which means that interested parties will be able to perform a search based on the hall, keywords, product groups or country.

It is already clear that for the first time in many years the entire Cologne trade fair grounds will be occupied in January 2013, with more than 284,000 square metres allocated. New records in terms of the number and quality of visitors should also be within reach thanks to extensive visitor promotion activities in more than 80 countries.

An international character will be emphasised in all strategic activities. With its many years of industry expertise and successful exhibitor and media management, Koelnmesse not only makes a convincing impression on foreign exhibitors regarding the trade fair location on the Rhine, as it also applies its knowledge in other international markets.

The latest coup involves the planning of the German pavilion at Kitchen & Bath China 2013 in Shanghai, for which Koelnmesse will assume responsibility. Moreover, in May 2012 a new event was created for Moscow that is scheduled for May 2013. Rooms Moscow will open up interesting opportunities for exhibitors to reach the increasingly attractive Russian market. At the same time, such an event will attract new groups of visitors to the trade fairs in Cologne.
