KBB Birmingham, which took place from 4-7 March, has been hailed a huge success. Here, the exhibitors@¬# opinions about the latest edition.
With a positive buzz around the show throughout the entire four days, an overwhelming number of exhibitors are reported to have had a fantastic show.
Bob Marsden, UK Country Manager for retail of Nolte, is overwhelmed by the outcome: “It@¬#s hard to see how kbb could have gone much better for Nolte. Before the show I had an idea of what I thought would be a good result for us over the four days, and we eclipsed that at the end of day 1! The comments from visitors to the stand were unanimously positive and the number of qualified leads that we took for both retail and contract potential customers will keep us very busy for the next few months. All in all, a resounding success which is starting to bear fruit already.”
Georgina Spencer, Marketing Manager for Roca: “kbb was a great show for us as we had the opportunity to speak with both potential and existing customers about our new products for 2012. The reaction to these was fantastic, particularly to the In-Tank Meridian and CleanRim The Gap WCs. The number of displays we secured through the show was especially pleasing and the follow up that we have done already on the leads gathered at the show indicates that they are of high quality.”
Chris Routley of Coram Showers: “KBB 2012 was a fantastic opportunity for Coram/Impey to demonstrate our expertise and support ‘THE’ UK trade show. We feel that the exhibition gave us the perfect platform to welcome many visitors and inform them of the exciting future for our company, giving them the opportunity to follow us through 2012 towards another successful year.”
Sara Johnston, marketing and communications manager for Geberit: "KBB Birmingham is always an exciting event in the industry calendar, and the 2012 show exceeded our expectations. Ours was one of the busiest stands at the show and visitors to our stand were genuinely enthused by the new products we had to show them. We also took very strong orders for displays at the show giving us a strong platform for ongoing business in 2012."
Exhibitors were under no doubt as to the quality of the visitor, and many companies had to bring in more staff to cope with the level of interest in their products.
After a fantastic 2012 event, the stage is set for kbb Birmingham 2014 which will return to the NEC from 2-5 March.
