Kalea Kitchen, bу Italian manufacturer Cesar, breaks away from more traditional kitchen layouts and creatively redefines sizes and dimensions.

Italian design is synonymous with style and this kitchen by Italian manufacturer Cesar is certainly not short on style. Kalea Kitchen, design Gian Vittorio Plazzogna, bу Cesar features doors of different heights and widths, alongside versatile, dynamic open storage units, all of which help to create a contemporary yet playful appeal.

However, the kitchen has an elegant feel to it due to the textured and refined finish achieved through the use of rough oak, which is used in conjunction with gloss or soft silk-effect lacquers. Featuring pullout doors and the swivel Swing and Tandem systems, the Kalea kitchen makes it possible to fully exploit all the space available.

Confident and versatile, Kalea is the latest achievement resulting from Cesar’s research: its contemporary design, the precious materials used and its extreme functionality make it Cesar’s pride and joy.

It is now available in new finishes that expand its possibilities of expression and make it even more attractive and evolved: it boasts a door in textured and refined eco cement that gives the kitchen a high-impact appeal; gloss or etched lacquered glass is also available (2 mm thick with matching coloured lacquered panel) for a milder, refined environment. These new finishes add to the basic ones: rough oak, a finish that sets off this wood species to the utmost degree, and gloss and silk-effect lacquers. These finishes remarkably increase the customisation possibilities and the combinations of finishes and colours available making this feature become one of the distinguishing qualities of this model. Actually, Kalea expresses her sprightly personality in great freedom of arrangement: it breaks the usual sequence of kitchen modules having identical widths and is composed like a real puzzle.

Thanks to the doors in different widths and heights and to the availability of a set of opens units – also in various sizes – to fit into base units, larders and wall units at will, and to the possibility of combining different finishes, it is possible to create the kitchen most suited to ones tastes and needs. Moreover, Kalea stands out for its slim door that is only 14 mm thick: resulting from the most recent research into production techniques, it is also very sturdy and reflects a high-class stylistic choice.

An original, emotional feature is created by the frame with a sort of gap that surrounds the entire kitchen: a combination of shades and depths sets off the kitchen cabinets and is produced by putting together two panels that are offset by 14 mm.

Lastly, this line is completed by the spectacular Clarion food preparation units with their brushed sheet steel or painted metal structures that can rest on the kitchen base units or stand alone in the centre of the room and are completed by a hob and a bottom shelf where kitchen utensils can be stored.
