161 registrations confirmed so far. Internationality increases, with exhibitors from 22 countries.
21.06.2018 About seven months before its start, there are already more than 160 confirmed entries for the LivingKitchen fair in January 2019. Thus, the number of exhibitors is slightly higher than the registrations registered during the same period of the previous edition. The team of Bernd Sanden, director of LivingKitchen, is currently holding many conversations around the world to get participations in the fair.
In January 2019 we will have an exhibition surface similar to the last event, says Sanden. For us it is important that the mix is the right one; That is why, of course, we have intense conversations with the main foreign equipment manufacturers. However, at the same time, more and more kitchen furniture manufacturers are in favor of a German platform in the sector, such as recently Rotpunkt Küchen, continues Sanden on the development of the fair. Again and again, the exhibitors highlight the importance for the sector of the existence of a German fair dedicated to the kitchen. As German kitchen producers, we are naturally present at the German kitchen fair, says Andreas Wagner, Managing Partner of Rotpunkt Küchen.
European center of kitchen furniture industry
Cologne, one of the world’s leading exhibition centers, has not only become a meeting point for the international interior design scene over the years, but also thanks to LivingKitchen it has also become the European center of kitchen furniture industry. Here the sector has found a platform that provides a public image to their products and that allows them to put their innovations within the reach of a specialized international audience and the end user.
The modern kitchen today is no longer presented as a purely functional object, but is part of the interior design of the house, a fact that highlights the special significance of the Imm Cologne and LivingKitchen fair duo. From here a win-win situation is generated, that is, beneficial for all: the industry, the specialized trade and the end users. The two fairs convince through the right balance between exhibition space and business, between vision of the future and day-to-day orientation, between complete and compact concept, says Matthias Pollmann, Vice President Fair Trade Management of Koelnmesse.
