IFEMA and Banco de Sabadell want to collaborate to benefit the companies participating in IFEMA fairs. Exhibitors and participants will be able to obtain loans for 100% of the installation costs of their booth.

As part of the support for participation driven by IFEMA, and in view of companies@¬# need to invest in the promotion of their products and access to new markets in order to grow, Banco Sabadell and IFEMA have reached an agreement designed to give exhibitors and participants access to sources of funding and other financial products with preferential conditions, thereby contributing to support the presence of businesses at fairs and make their activities more visible. These sources of funding will be available to the companies who request them directly from the bank.

Luis Eduardo Cortés and Fermín Lucas, respectively the CEO and senior director of IFEMA, signed the agreement with Blanca Montero, representing Banco Sabadell.

With this collaboration agreement, IFEMA will also enable its exhibitors and participants to benefit from the international consultancy which Banco de Sabadell can provide, based on its long experience in companies@¬# foreign trade and its extensive presence abroad. The beneficiaries can thus have access to the entire network of the bank in more than twenty countries in five continents, and more than 2,500 correspondent banks, so they can get the best combination of security and costs for each country and transaction. Banco de Sabadell will also offer educational activities.

Full coverage
As well as providing advice and training for exhibitors and participants, the agreement essentially provides a special line of credit and a specific offer of products and services, which can cover both the resources for attending fairs and the ordinary resources and investments needed for the activities of the exhibitors who require it and request it directly from the bank. The agreement also extends to the employees of IFEMA and the exhibitor companies, who as preferential members, can enjoy financial benefits.

According to the bank@¬#s Vice-General Director and Territorial Director for Madrid, Castilla La Mancha, Castilla-León and Galicia, Blanca Montero, “This collaboration by Banco Sabadell is an example of our commitment to the Madrid region to contribute to generating wealth and development, and, with this particular agreement, to promote and project the image of Madrid inside and outside its borders, and help companies sell more, thanks to their participation in fairs. IFEMA gives us the opportunity to support the interests of a great many professional groups in very different sectors. Not many institutions have IFEMA@¬#s reach, and we at Banco  de Sabadell want to complement that”

For his part Luis Eduardo Cortés, CEO of IFEMA, emphasises that “this collaboration represents a significant contribution to the investment efforts of the exhibitor companies, and represents an especially valuable way, in these difficult times, for the Institution to support the participation of all our clients, and thus to boost their businesses.”
