iF Design Award 2015 for two non-kitchen Hailo products

This international design award pays homage to nonkitchen products that the company added to its portfolio in early-2014: the Hailo Laundry-Carrier fitted laundry collector for utility rooms and laundry rooms and the fitted waste collector for bathroom cabinets. Both products are characterised by their sophisticated design and added value for users and convinced the jury in terms of the assessment criteria: design quality, finish, material selection, degree of innovativeness, environmental compatibility, functionality, ergonomics, intuitive use, safety, brand value and branding along with universal design.

With both solutions, Hailo once again admirably demonstrates that beautiful design can also be simultaneously functional, because they are comfortable to use and are targeted at clean-cut interiors as they are installed behind fronts.

With its two large-capacity system baskets, the Hailo Laundry-Carrier offers sufficient space for two full washing machine loads. The containers can be simply removed using their ergonomically-shaped handles, are comfortable to carry and –above all– can be firmly positioned anywhere if not fitted to a cabinet drawer. And whenever you are not working in the laundry room, all laundry simply disappears behind the cabinet front panel.

Hailo offers the bathroom cosmetic waste container beautifully designed and made from sturdy white plastic  in three different heights and volumes. It is available for installation in base units with doors or in existing pull-outs as well as for wall mounting (it can also be retrofitted to existing furniture with the utmost ease).

Over the past few years, the iF Jury has presented Hailo with awards for various products as a result of their sophisticated design and their added value for users –most recently for the Hailo Carry organisational system.
