In September, three events included in the Eumabois Network are taking place in Europe: Drema in Poznan (Poland), Lisderevmash in Kiev (Ukraine) and LignumExpo in Nitra (Slovakia).

The month of September opens the autumn season of woodworking exhibitions. Exhibitions are a must-have marketing tool, the only place where customers can “experience” different options, compare, evaluate and eventually submit orders.

Drema Poznan
On 13-16 September 2016 the 32nd meeting of wood and furniture industries will meet in Poznań in order to create the shape of the market and search for new development directions. Such a mobilization and stimulation of the industry happens only once a year, during Drema International Trade Fair of Machines and Tools for Wood and Furniture Industries. The prestige of the fair is confirmed by the fact that it is the only industry event in Poland and one of several events in Europe supported by the Eumabois European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers.

At Drema fair, the offer in the scope of machinery and tools for wood and furniture industries is presented. It comprises a wide range of solutions and advanced technologies, interesting not only for representatives of those industries but also for persons associated with forestry, biomass as well as manufacturers and producers of chemical agents for wood and representatives of furniture industry. The offer of Drema fair is enriched by Furnica International Fair of Components for Furniture Production, SoFab International Fair of Upholstery Fabrics and Components for Upholstered Furniture and Intermic Trade Fair of Textile, Clothing and Footwear Machines and Components take place at the same time.

Lisderevmash Kiev
The major Ukrainian trade fair of woodworking and forestry technology will take place in Kyiv on September 27-30, 2016. Every year the event gathers the leading Ukrainian and foreign companies and attracts thousands of visitors. This exhibition becomes the main platform for the Ukrainian presentations in the field of technologies for logging, wood processing, furniture production and wood waste recycling.

As of June 2016 approximately 100 companies have applied for participation in Lisderevmash. Over 20% of them are overseas companies. A lot of famous brands will be demonstrated here, including Altendorf, Biesse, Felder, Forezienne, Griggio, Homag, Houfek, Ledinek, Leitz, Leuco, Mebor, Polytechnik, Rehau, Rojek, Scm Group, Sia Rmp, Stihl, Serra, Wood-Mizer, Wravor and many others. All of them will be exhibited on the stands of their official representatives in Ukraine, as well as by dealers and suppliers.

Thematic sections of Lisderevmash cover the entire technological cycle of wood processing. WoodMachinery section features machinery and tools for forestry, equipment for primary and secondary processing of wood, production of joinery. FurniTech demonstrates equipment, fittings, accessories and materials for furniture production. And WoodProduct section offers timber and lumber, wood trims and finished wood items.

Outdoor area of Lisderevmash presents large-scale equipment for timber harvesting, sawmills and etc.The section that demonstrates growth is WoodEnergy, where technology and equipment for wood waste processing, production of pellets and briquettes, as well as boilers and heat generators are showcased.

As the leading sectoral trade fair of Ukraine, which presents a wide range of machinery, equipment and technologies for timber industry, Lisderevmash remains an effective platform for promotion and business communication. This is the place where Ukrainian specialists have the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest technological innovations, to test many of them, to get advice and to choose the supplier. And trade fair visitation often results in concluding a contract for equipment purchase.
As an event that contributes to a growth of international cooperation Lisderevmash is supported by European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers Eumabois, specialized associations of Italy (ACIMALL) and Spain (AFEMMA). At the same time, Lisderevmash is the only Ukrainian event dedicated to woodworking that underwent certification for compliance with the standards of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI).

LignumExpo Nitra
A comprehensive accompanying program will accompany the expert visitors during the whole duration of the LignumExpo-Forest 2016 fair (September 27. – 30. 2016) on the Agrokomplex fairground site in Nitra. It will enrich the visitors with a valuable knowledge from the wood processing industry areas (including a furniture production). All the accompanying events during the fair will be held directly on the fairground site and we will welcome a participation of any expert.

The fairground site will be accessible from 9:00 to 17:00 (until 15:00 on Friday). As the fair is being held in biennial cycle, it meets the conditions for filing into the word event calendar of the Eumabois events focused to timber and forestry.

The jubilee 20th LignumExpo fair is exceptional also due to the fact that during its holding we will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of this exhibiting tradition. The first fair was held from 28.9. to 2.10.1991with the participation of 222 exhibitors on the area of 12 thousand m². The concern in exhibition of the modern technologies grew continuously up during the first 15 years. The cycle of exhibition was changed to biennial cycle when Slovak wood processing industry became more modern and technologically balanced. The range of exhibition was stabilized and now it copies the current trends. 174 exhibitors for Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Italy, Poland and Hungary participated on the last 19th LignumExpo-Forest 2014 on the area of 12 thousand m². The exhibitions were visited by 8230 visitors.
