Cosentino will centralize in Singapore its operations in the Asian continent. The new Center, opened last Friday, will serve at the same time as logistics hub and as headquarters for all Asia, with an investment over 670,000€ and an initial team of 12 employees.
13.07.2017-. The new 3,760 m2 facility can stock over 10,000 material slabs in the 3,360 m2 warehouse area. The 400 m2 headquarter offices will be the place from where operations of the company in the Asian continent will be directed.
In the Pacific region, Cosentino has increased significantly its presence over the past years and now this presence is strengthened with the opening of the first great distribution hub of the company outside of the US, located in the city of Sidney. The 12,500m2 logistic hub opened last Thursday in Casula district, only 35 kms outside of Sidney. This new hub will allow Cosentino higher efficiency to the growing demand in Australia and the rest of the region.
Since 2011, Cosentino has consistently been increasing with two digits its sales in Oceania. Sidney hub is a strategic facility to strengthen our growth in the continent, grow control on distribution and give an even better service to our clients. Singapore Center also means a huge support to our distribution and logistics network in Asia, and it reinforces Singapore as the headquarter for coordinating activities for the whole region, said Gines Navarro, VP Sales Asia, Pacific and Direct Sales, Cosentino Group.
