07.11.2019 Biesse is present with a stand of 153 m2 at FIMAP 2019, the most important exhibition of machinery for the wood industry in Portugal. It take place in Porto from 7 to 9 November.
The Biesse stand, located in Pavilion 4, C22, is the ideal moment in Portugal to experience the innovation of the Biesse Group. The strength of its history and its ability define the technological characteristics of the future of the manufacturing industry.
As the protagonist of the event, visitors can get to know Sophia, Biesse’s new Internet platform of Things (IoT) that helps them make their business more profitable. It is based on the connection of the machines to the cloud with the possibility of sending data and information in real time on the technology used to optimize the performance and productivity of the machines and systems.
Biesse at FIMAP: 2 machines on display
There are 2 machines on display, aimed at all woodworking professionals, from large factories with high production volumes and companies that must produce thousands of different products, according to customers’ customization needs, to small companies that often have the characteristics of craft companies.
One of the protagonists is the Rover A Smart, a simple and intuitive 5-axis CNC work center that allows the production of any type of furniture. It adapts perfectly to the needs of small and large cabinetmakers who need to produce in large dimensions or for standard productions of small batches.
The other machine that is present is the Stream A 6.0, the new range of automatic monolateral edgers designed for craftsmen and small companies wishing to increase their production capacity. It allows to intensify the production up to 2 shifts and adapts perfectly to the needs of work, thanks to its configuration.
