The preparation of the sixth edition of SICAM, the international fair of suppliers for the furniture industry, scheduled at Pordenone Fairgrounds from Tuesday 14th to Friday 17th October, is going on.

An increase of exhibition space compared to 2013 is easy to foresee: more than 85 % of exhibiting companies have already reconfirmed their participation for 2014, as well as many new important companies. The particular format of the fair an absolute plus factor: the efficacy of this event for all producers of accessories and components operating in the international furniture market is also shown by the constant number of visiting companies from all over the world also in the last edition.

Worldwide promotion
Searching for emerging markets: also for 2014 this is the guideline for the international promotion of SICAM. New countries, therefore, to further expand the already extensive range of operators’ provenance in Pordenone (94 countries from five continents last year). This year SICAM has already been promoted in Tehran, Las Vegas and Bangalore, and the next planned activities will be, among others, Dubai, Indonesia, Colombia, Ukraine, Mexico and Brazil. An overall promotion with the aim to consolidate and strengthen the 35% of foreign trade visitors registered during the last edition.
