Creative kitchen planning with the Häcker Kitchen Systemat programme

In the so-called ‘art room’ at the in-house trade fair in September 2013, Häcker Kitchen exhibited four exceptional kitchens that cater perfectly to these requirements. What is so exciting about the art room is the fact that all layouts are based on the systemat programme and show that you can produce creative designs with a hint of imagination with the standard modules from the premium range.

The first of these four kitchens, Ozenblau, went under the motto ‘Light Explosion’ and united beauty and functionality in an extraordinary manner. The extremely-minimalist design deployed the AV 3020 model and caused quite a furore with its charming colour contrast: a light staircase separated front panels in cool Metallic ocean blue from front panels in warm Cashmere, placing the entire composition centre-stage in a particularly artistic manner.
 

The second layout, Schwarz, was entitled ‘Kitchen Workshop’, in which material and shape contrasts dominated. The extremely masculine kitchen, based on handle-free models AV 4030 and AV 5080, united shiny black lacquer front panels with walnut front panels and a granite work surface. Round and angular elements formed an extremely charming tension, allowing the overall design to make a truly powerful impact. One highlight was the tailor-made sink made by Franke – a prototype-development collaboration involving the interior designers at Häcker Kitchen and Franke.
 

The third design, Tessina, was entitled ‘Screwed and Twisted’ and was a combination of models AV 4080 in Tessina and AV 6022 in Black oak. This kitchen impressively demonstrated just how far individualism can go. Differing angles, widths, depths and heights melted into a dynamic overall composition, which even had the bar counter jutting out of the work surface at an angle.
 

A further particularly eye-catching design was ‘Flying Cabinets’, which – with its ordered chaos – was reminiscent of the so-called ‘Petersburg hanging’ displaying method for museums. This kitchen comprises elements from models AV 5090 in Silver-grey metallic design glass and AV 6022 in Silver oak. As in the case of the ‘Screwed and Twisted’ design, the cabinets were also positioned at different heights here and set into the wall at different depths so as to impress the beholder with a diverse and lively overall composition.
