Cancio develops a new material: Vitrified steel

Cancio´s Team of Design and Development has been working for the last months on the launching of a new material for worktops, alternative to the traditional glass and laminate and also the more recent porcelain, that has been named `vitrified steel´.

This material is made up by a steel sheet lacquered in textured epoxy and supported on a 5 mm. thick glass to increase its consistency. The possibility of bending the material also gives it a novel aesthetics due to the sensation of continuity, similar to the one other solid and obviously more expensive materials add.

Cancio is for the moment applying this new material to its new model of Rizzo table, which has been well received in the market, and has the idea of continuing its commitment on this new material for the development of future models.
