2,200 people visited the 3,000 square meter Biesse Headquarters in Pesaro Italy for the three day BiesseInside event, increasing the number of companies from all over the world by 35% in respect to the last edition.

Visitors were able to take a close look at the new AirForce System designed to apply edgebanding with the use of hot air. This technology won the Visionary Award for product innovation at the AWFS 2013 exhibition. Our customers will be able to obtain an excellent product with a small economic investment, said Pierluigi Tacchi, Biesse Global Product Manager.
The new Biesse finishing center, Opera 5, designed by Viet was also demonstrated. The Opera 5 machine is capable of carrying out calibrating and sanding operations on solid wood and super-finishing on veneer or painted panels. Biesse also demonstrated an integrated cell dedicated to technology for the production of windows and doors. At the center of the scene was the UniLine, a CNC machining center able to reduce labor: with the standard configuration, Uniline runs without operator intervention but can also be configured to run continuous cycles while only requiring 20% of the operator’s overall work time.
The 2013 BiesseInside edition has been characterized for the main focus on the Nesting application. The process nesting, born in Anglo-Saxon countries, is spreading fast in Europe thanks to the flexibility and responsiveness that allows you to switch from batch one production to “just in time” production, reengineering production logistics, reducing costs and answering the challenges of a constantly changing market. The machine demonstrated was the Rover A G FT, a perfect solution for the production of cabinets, kitchens and furniture and all panel-based applications in general. Many vistors attended the educational workshop dedicated to nesting, titled Nesting for the European market: a revolutionary working process in batch one that allows great flexibility both to the craftsman and the industry.
The bSolid software demonstrations were located in a dedicated area in the show-room where Biesse experts met visitors and clients showing them the advantages offered to them on the management of numerically controlled machines, giving them answers tailored for their business. A simple, user-friendly solution with an intuitive approach, allowing any user to access sophisticated feautures guaranteeing simplified process management, improved performance and reduced machining times.
The educational seminars dedicated to the presentation of bSolid have been called: Case-history: MCM presents bSolid, a travel between Technologies and Design. MCM is one of the main Italian tailor-made furniture companies, creating unique pieces that often go to complete the production of extremely well-known brands. Mirco Molteni said about bSolid: It’s intuitive, parametric, powerful and versatile, specially for surfaces … With bSolid just set the geometry with a few gestures, follow the instructions on the screen and behold the piece comes to life to produce and develop all operations required to build it.
