ANIEME coordinates for the second year the joint participation of Spain in the China Furniture Fair, to be held from 11 to 15 September in Shanghai.

For the second consecutive year, ANIEME has organized and coordinated, with the support of ICEX, the group participation of 15 Spanish companies in the sector of furniture and decoration in one of the leading trade fairs in Asia, Furniture China, which will take place from 11 to 15 September in Shanghai.

This important action that aims to promote the Spanish furniture reflects the growing commercial interest of Spanish companies in the Chinese market, and Asia in general, which has led to almost double the number of both Spanish exhibitors and the meters of exhibition space, passing from eight companies and 327 m2 in 2011 to 15 companies and 600 m2 in the current 2012 edition.

Located in Hall W1, hall dedicated to international brands, Spanish firms Anframa, Credansa, Ébano Internacional, Montero Creaciones Artísticas, Virtus 1945, Curvasa, Marcelo Ibañez, Tomás & Saez Disseny, Point, Skyline Design, Vondom, Paco Camus, Máximo Riera, Muebles Canella and Vicente Zaragozá will present a wide and varied range of habitat products with their exclusive of Made in Spain.

Interior designers, architects, specifiers and specifiers looking for new trends in decoration and original and attractive products have a unique opportunity in Shanghai to discover new proposals of the Spanish Furniture thanks to ANIEME.

China Furniture Fair is an important platform for Spanish companies interested in opening markets in China and other Asian markets and attending many industry professionals to learn about Asian and European furniture new proposals.

Juan Carlos Munoz, president of ANIEME, said that "During the first half of 2012 China@¬#s imports of Spanish furniture grew by 17.6%, equivalent to a figure close to 1.3 million euros, plus the volume of furniture exported to countries such as Sweden, Lebanon or Brazil in the same period."
