According to the report of ICEX, the last fair Mosbuild 2012 marks a rebound in the sector of construction materials. The balance of the Spanish participation is also positive.
Mosbuild 2012, the 18th International Trade Fair building and interior (materials and technologies for construction and machinery for the manufacture of construction materials), organized by ITE Group LLC, was held from 2 to 5 April (Design & Decor Week) and 10 to 13 April (Building & Architecture Week) at the fairgrounds Expocenter in Moscow (Russia).

In this edition, the report on Mosbuild 2012 issued by the Institute of Foreign Trade (ICEX), "has been noted again that the field of construction materials has improved. The gradual recovery of market incentives will help Spanish companies to continue investing, innovating and presenting new collections in the Russian market. "
Spanish presence
For the fifteenth consecutive year the Spanish participation in Mosbuild had an official pavilion organized by ICEX. This brought together a total of 53 Spanish companies, 50 industry devoted to ceramic wall and floor tiles and three devoted to baths and faucets, occupying an area of approximately 2,000 m2.
This year, as has become customary, the ICEX stand was enabled a hospitality area, which were carried out various activities and that also was a meeting point and venue for participants and visitors to the Pavilion Spanish.
On April 2 held a press conference aimed at Russian publications such as Tatlin, Idei Vashego Doma, 100% Bathrooms, Interior & Design …, with two objectives: first, continue to present the Spanish products as a leading product. Second, remember the image of Tile of Spain and the importance of Spanish products in the Russian market. The press conference concluded with a cocktail.
The next day, Tuesday April 3, were awarded certificates of honor to recognize 15 importers Russians "their constant and professional work in the distribution of Spanish tile in the Russian Federation." On Wednesday April 4, was organized at the stand a cocktail from 12:00 to 14:00, which attracted a large number of visitors to the Pavilion.
The main reasons, according to organizers of Mosbuild, so that companies attended the fair are: establish new business contacts, build brand image, support the local agent or distributor and launch new products on the Russian market.
In this sense, the overall assessment of the event from the Spanish point of view is positive, given the general conditions of the fairgrounds, the number of participants and attendees, and the presence of foreign exhibitors.
According to ICEX, a large number of Spanish companies understands the importance of the Russian market and therefore creates and presents collections to suit the tastes of consumers in that country.
