Granite sink manufacturer Schock can look back on a successful 2011 and is set to continue on its growth path this year.
The company is experiencing healthy demand for models of the premium Cristadur brand. The improved Cristalite Plus material which was launched in 2011 has also led to a noticeable surge in demand. In expanding its distribution network and building a new production hall, Schock is responding to the positive market signals and setting the course for sustained growth.
“We substantially expanded our market position in the medium to high-end sink market thanks to our quality products and a successful marketing push. In Germany alone we increased our revenues 30% in the past business year and we believe there is similar potential for development in many of the international markets,” reports Ralf Boberg from the management team at Schock GmbH.
In expanding its distribution network and building a new production hall, Schock is responding to the positive market signals and setting the course for sustained growth.
Boasting new distribution partners in major growth markets like Russia, Turkey, Croatia and China, the company has found experienced partners in important international growth markets. Furthermore, the company’s presence in the American market, where it was previously not represented under its own brand name, is now substantially stronger thanks to a new cooperative venture.
“Our cooperation with regional partners is very important to our growth strategy. In our export markets we need to safeguard geographical proximity and professional support to customers in order to be able to grow successfully and sustainably,” says Sven-Michael Funck, Export Manager at Schock GmbH.
The distribution network now covers more than 70 countries and will be continually enhanced as time goes on. Efforts to develop new international markets are accompanied by extension of the dealer network in Germany.
