More than 400 companies supplying materials for the construction, windows and natural stone sectors will take part in the International Construction Week, that includes Veteco, Construtec and Piedra.
More than 400 firms supplying materials for the construction, window and natural stone sectors will take part in the first International Construction Week, organised by IFEMA and being held from 8 to 11 May at the Feria de Madrid.
This business event will occupy five of the exhibition halls available at the IFEMA trade fair and a full programme of Technical Workshops is also included. This makes it an important sales and business platform for a sector that it trying to relaunch itself in a bid to overcome the crisis.
International Construction Week brings together three exhibitions that are well established in their respective sectors: Construtec, the International Construction Trade Fair; Veteco, the International Trade Fair for Windows, Curtain Walls and Structural Glass; and Piedra, the International Natural Stone Trade Fair.
To date, 255 buyers have been confirmed from 17 countries, including (in order of significance) buyers from Brazil, Morocco, the United States, Russia, Turkey, Poland, Mexico, Chile, Romania, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates; followed by others from the United Kingdom, France, Portugal, Cyprus, Israel and Tunisia.
Furthermore, through the event@¬#s buyers programme, the different exhibitors have invited a total of 178 buyers from 30 countries to date. These include (also in order of importance): Portugal, Mexico, Chile, France, the United Kingdom, Poland, Morocco, Germany, Brazil, Cuba, Italy, Colombia, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, the United States, Argentina, the United Arab Emirates, Greece, Ireland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Austria, the Czech Republic, Cyprus, China, Hong Kong, South Africa, Algeria, Tunisia and Puerto Rico.
