In its third edition, Zaragoza Furniture Fair has attracted more than 33,000 professionals from all regions and 12 countries. Here, we share some impressions from exhibitors and visitors we met in this Spanish fair.
The Zaragoza Furniture Fair (Feria del Mueble de Zaragoza), has become the best Spanish window to display a wide range of mid-level furniture with a competitive price, adapting to current demand, where price is the protagonist.
A total of 482 exhibitors from Spain, Italy, Portugal, China, Mexico and Andorra have occupied nine halls of Feria de Zaragoza, which have shown the most important sectoral developments. Thus, its 90,000 square meters of exhibition became, in four days, the meeting point of the furniture market.
For exhibitors who were present, is an attractive fair that allows them to approach to customers in northern Spain. The exhibition center is quickly and directly accessible from the highway and has good rail connections, what make it easier for bordering regions visitors.
In our perception, we might say that the geographical origin of visitors is concentrated in the Basque Country, Navarra, Rioja, Cantabria and Aragon. Also Catalonia was there. But we found not to many visitors from Andalucia, but also worth mentioning that there were visitors from Murcia.
The first Ibercocina
At Delta Cocinas they are satisfied. According to Ana Rita Medrano, General Manager of the company, we have been visited by all customers who we invited (about 200 clients) and, on the other hand, we have been visited by companies interested on expanding their business from home furniture to kitchen furniture.
At Nasa Cocinas, kitchen manufacturers for over 25 years, are also happy with their experience at the show: It is very positive for our strategy having the possibility of offering our products to the North – underlined Consolation Osuna , Director of Technical and Design Department.
The specialist in tables and chairs Discalsa is also satisfied with the visitors they had in Zaragoza. Its proximity to Feria de Zaragoza and the fact that this was the first edition of Ibercocina, encouraged this company from Rioja to participate on it, even when a low turnout was expected.
An overview of all novelties set out in fair and a deep analysis with the impressions of exhibitors will be available in the next issue of our magazine Cocina Integral.
